Serve this delicious Mediterranean feta spread on a platter with pita crackers or flatbread, marinated Greek olives, marinated mushrooms, pickled peppers, or marinated artichoke hearts.
INGREDIENTS:
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 green onions, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
Scallion green tops, very thinly sliced (garnish)
METHOD:
In a large food processor bowl, place cream cheese, feta cheese, olive oil, green onions, garlic, oregano, and pepper. Process until mixture is smooth.
Pack cheese mixture into attractive serving ramekins. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
When ready to serve, garnish with a sprinkle of thinly sliced scallion tops. Serve on platter with pita crackers or flatbread, marinated Greek olives, marinated mushrooms, pickled peppers, or marinated artichoke hearts.
