Rich Chocolate Avocado Smoothie

Don’t let the avocado fool you — this rich chocolate avocado smoothie is pure, creamy indulgence! Ripe avocado adds a velvety texture while keeping things wholesome, and cocoa brings rich chocolate flavor without the heaviness of cream. Naturally sweetened with banana and honey, it’s a nutritious pick-me-up that satisfies like dessert but fuels like breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 cups vanilla almond or cashew milk
1/2 ripe avocado, pit removed and pulp scooped out
1 ripe banana
2 tablespoons raw cocoa powder
1-2 tablespoons honey or other sweetener of choice
3-4 ice cubes

METHOD:

In a blender, combine the milk, avocado, banana, cocoa powder, honey, and ice cubes.

Process on high until the mixture is completely smooth, thick, and creamy. For a thinner consistency, add a splash more milk; for extra richness, blend in a few more ice cubes or half a frozen banana.

Add more honey if you prefer a sweeter flavor, or an extra teaspoon of cocoa for a darker chocolate note.

Pour into chilled glasses and enjoy right away.
