Husk Cherry Salsa

This bright, zesty salsa highlights the sweet-tart flavor of husk cherries, also known as ground cherries. Their tropical notes pair beautifully with juicy tomatoes, sharp red onion, and a touch of heat from jalapeño. Finished with fresh cilantro and lime, it’s a refreshing accompaniment that works in many ways—perfect with tortilla chips, spooned over grilled chicken, or served alongside fresh fish. It’s a quick, colorful dish that tastes like summer in every bite.
