Don’t miss these beautiful English peas today at Borba Family Farms!

A true spring favorite—tender, sweet, and so vibrant. Yes, shelling peas takes a little time… but it’s part of the ritual, a quiet moment in the kitchen that makes the reward even better.

Because nothing compares to a warm bowl of freshly shelled peas, simply tossed with butter and a pinch of salt—pure spring on a plate.

Clara’s Eggs 🥚

Some of the most beautiful eggs at the market—naturally pastel-hued and perfect for your spring table (no dye required!). Think soft blues, warm creams, and gentle blush tones… nature really knows what she’s doing.

And beyond their beauty? These are true farm-fresh eggs, with those rich, deep orange-golden yolks that make everything you bake just a little more special.

And don’t miss their duck eggs—larger, richer, and a favorite among bakers for their incredible texture and flavor.

A little everyday magic… straight from the farm!

Good morning from the Monterey Farmers Market!

March is one of our very favorite times of year at the market—a true turning of the seasons, when familiar faces return and the stalls begin to fill with the first harvests of spring. There’s something so special about welcoming our farmers back after winter, and feeling that fresh energy ripple through the market once again.

We’re especially excited to kick off the season with Klein Family Farms and their beautiful, succulent asparagus—tender, vibrant, and a sure sign that spring has officially arrived.

Come stroll the market, say hello to your farmers, and celebrate the start of a delicious new season with us. We couldn’t be happier to be back together again 💚

Kaye from Kirk Williams Farm is back with their beautiful Hass avocados—rich, buttery, and at their peak. Few ingredients are as versatile in the kitchen: blend them into smoothies, layer them into sandwiches, mash them onto toast, toss them into salads, or even use them in silky desserts.

Not only are they delicious, avocados are packed with heart-healthy fats, fiber, potassium, and vitamins that help keep you fueled and satisfied.

Stop by the market this morning and pick up a few while they’re here—your future meals will thank you! ✨🥑✨

For nearly 25 years, Chef Andrew Cohen has been the heart of the farmers market — teaching us how to cook the unfamiliar, celebrating farmers, and reminding us that food is sacred.

After a devastating illness that changed his life, our community is coming together to help restore Andrew’s independence and mobility. Please take a moment to read his story (link in bio 👆) and consider supporting the GoFundMe campaign linked in the article. Every share helps. ❤️
