Balsamic Steak Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup honey
2 shallots, sliced
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon allspice
Salt, pepper and sugar to taste
2 tablespoons butter

METHOD:

Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat, and simmer all until thickened, about 15 minutes. Season to taste. Strain, then whisk in butter.
