Asian Ginger Dressing


3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh ginger root, minced
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoons sesame oil
1/3 cup rice vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted (optional)


Place all ingredients in a salad dressing shaker (or glass jar with lid). Cover the jar with a tight fitting lid, and shake vigorously, or until all the ingredients are well combined.

Use with finely shredded cabbage and add a handful of chopped peanuts for an Asian inspired cole slaw.
